Penrose Cancer Center begins service as a Women’s Wellness Connection provider
Penrose Cancer Center has received grant funding through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to begin offering free women’s health screening services on site through the Women’s Wellness Connection (WWC) program.
The program, founded in 1991 and administered by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, helps Colorado women ages 40-64 get free breast and cervical cancer screenings as well as diagnostic services that may lead to a cancer diagnosis.
